Introduction
This website has been created to provide a platform for friends and family to advertise their properties for free to would be renters in Ghana and visitors from abroad be it short or long term. All the properties currently on the site have been inspected and we have worked with the owners to make necessary improvements to ensure that their suitability for the discerning traveller/tenant so you can patronise any of them with complete confidence. I can personally vouch that all the villas are well equipped, comfortable, safe and fun to live in for both kids and adults alike (Our range of villas includes 1 bedroom villa with shared swimming pool (villa 4), 2 bed villa (villa 8), 3 bed villas with shared swimming pool (villa 2, 3, 6), 3 bed villa (9), 4 bed villa (villa 1, 5, 10,11 and 12) and villa 13 5 bedroom Mansion.
If none of the above properties are suitable or the property you're interested is unavailable, then please note that you can also make reservation through us in respect of the following additional properties on the same basis: 4 bedroom villa with onsite swimming pool (sleeps 8) - Spintex Rd; 6 bedroom mansion with onsite pool sleeps 12- Spintex Road; and 2 x 3 bedroom villas - Spintex Road. Long term rentals
The following villas are available for long term rental based on a minimum period of 6 months based on a monthly rental fee of: Villa 1 (furnished 4bed 3 bath/Spintex -$1500), villa 2 (furnished 3 bed 3 bath and pool/Spintex- $2000), Villa 3 (furnished 3 bed and 3 bath with pool/Spintex -$2000), Villa 7 (Unfurnished 4bed 3 bath/Lashibi - $1200), ( Villas 10 furnished 4 bed 3 bath/East Legon - $3500) Villa 12 (unfurnished 4 bed 3 bath/ Lashibi Gated Community- $1300. All rates are exclusive. Also, our purpose complex comprising villas 2,3, and 4 which provides 7 bed and 7 bath altogether is available on long term rental basis at a rate of $4,750 per month based on mininum period of 1-2 years. This is negotiable depending on number of years you're prepared to commit to at the outset. More details on application regarding renting any of our properties on long term basis.
In order to enhance the experience of staying in one of our villas we have given careful consideration to what children would need to keep them entertained and we have bikes, pool tables, DVD’S and video’s, and of course, when you book villa 1,2,3 and 4 you have the use of the swimming pool. You're welcome to bring your own game console.
For adults, we have fitness equipment, swimming pool. Villas 2 and 3 have the added advantage of having several restaurants (The Lome – bar), Ranna Plaza (live bands two restaurants, a gymnasium, a bar with pool tables and night club called Emperor) within 5 minutes walk away. For shopping House Mart and mobile mart are also only between 10 to 15 minutes walk away. A short drive away along the Spintex road are other well equipped entertainment centres such as The Pool bar (bar and disco), Fridays (open air bar and disco), Effeh spot (live music and restaurant) and Coastal Spot (restaurant and bar) Chinese, Continental and a host of local restaurants.
In short we have endeavored to achieve the highest standards at reasonable prices.
For extra comfort and security, all our villas come with the services of 24-hour security personnel, and a cleaner comes round at least every other day. A fully qualified chef/housekeeper is available from an extra $15 per day.
To cater for families travelling with babies and children, the following items are available free of charge on request and subject to availability:-
High chair, cot, baby car seat, push chair.
4 x4 Jeep rental
In order to make your travel around Ghana as stress free as possible, we can also a range of 6 and 7 seater 4 x 4 Jeeps with air condition together with one 10 seater people carrier at special rates to our customers when they book a villa with us in advance at the same time. All our drivers have had extra training to enable them to drive to western standards and they all have extensive knowledge of places of interest both in Accra and the rest of Ghana and they all have good command of English.

Whether on business or pleasure, you will find that Akotaa Villas offers a friendly and informal atmosphere while at the same time efficiently providing all the facilities you require for your stay away from home. But also equally important is the money we raise for good causes in Ghana, especially Osu Children's home, which the house owners are encourage to donate to in return for providing this online marketing platform free of charge to them.The aim is that the homeowners would donate 10% of all the charges to charitable causes of their choice in Ghana so when you book your accommodation with us you are also helping charitable causes in Ghana.
With the experience we have built up over the years we have built up a good reputation for quality of service both in terms of the accommodation provided and customer service and an increasing number of our customers are either repeat customers or come via recommendation. We are aiming to build on this further, and we will do everything in our power to meet your highest expectations. For those booking with us for the first time, we do not simply expect you to take our word for it so you are welcome to send a representative to view the property you are interested in before booking with us.

All the properties are situated in and around the prestigious Spintex Road, East Legon and McCarthy Hills area of Accra. House Owners
This is a not for profit organisation so it is absolutely free to market your property on this site. However, we politely ask that you make a suitable donation to Osu Children's Home to assist us in our quest in supporting good causes in Ghana. Owing to increase demand for these types of serviced villas, we are now actively looking to take on more suitable properties particularly in the following areas: Cantonment,Labonne, East Airport, East Legon, Spintex Road, Airport residential area. The property must have security, backup generator, cleaner, easy access to local amenities including transport network and shops etc and properties with swimming pool and/or in gated communities are especially welcome. We will inspect your property to make sure it is suitable for our discerning customers and subject to this it will be added to our website.
